- Analyzing complex processes from an enterprise perspective.

- Documenting functional capability requirements for subsequent use as the basis for software development.
- Conducting and documenting results from functional software tests.

Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a degree seeking program at an HBCU required
- Availability to work full-time for at least 10-12 weeks for summer 2025

- Pursuing a major in Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Math, Operations Research,
- Business Administration, or related fields.
- Basic proficiency with a variety of data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and database programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose and write a variety of internal and external documents, reports, and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills required, with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within LMI and with its clients.
- Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication.
- Strong problem solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Strong planning skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritize assignments with minimum supervision. Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks and projects.

DCH is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Senior Manager, PMO Data Analytics position for the Performance Management Office. The Performance Management Office (PMO) is an enterprise office within DCH which seeks to aid the agency in making the most efficient use of Care Management Organizations (CMOs) by providing quality data services to supported Divisions within DCH. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of your supervisor. Your days of frequency in the office can change at any time during your employment based on the business needs of the organization.Job Responsibilities
Under minimal guidance, the Senior Manager, PMO Data Analytics will provide strategic and tactical direction for data analysts. The Senior Manager, PMO Data Analytics will partner with other data driven departments, divisions, and outside agencies to drive the PMO mission and ensure the most effective use of partner CMOs. The role is responsible for researching and creating effective methods to collect data, analyze the information and suggest solutions to internal and external partners to meet the overall business needs for DCH.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct analyses on CMO Performance.
• Develop complex methodologies in response to Agency questions which require data driven decisions
• Develop methodologies for collecting and analyzing data related to CMO performance
• Develop data visualizations to support Medicaid program evaluations
• Communicate with supported Divisions to gather information related to data reporting and analytics needs
• Lead healthcare data analysts to develop operational and tactical strategies to meet data consumer’s requirements
• Lead data driven discussions with leadership and provide insightful presentations based on CMO performance
• Perform quality assurance reviews on data reports and analytics
• Identify and create standardized reports and visualizations for public consumption
• Develop and maintain Division data reporting and analytic standards for CMO performance
• Train subordinate analysts on most effective data analytics and reporting practices
• Facilitate delivery of complex data in an efficient and effective manner
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or nine (9) years of related professional experience which includes five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or five (5) years of experience required at the lower-level Sr Mgr, Business Ops (GSM012) or position equivalent.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Decision Sciences, Computer Science, or Public Health Administration
Working knowledge of Medicaid healthcare claims and enrollment data
Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, SAS, ArcGIS, SQL, R and/or Python
Five years of analytics experience, including a demonstrated knowledge of data models and program evaluation.
Knowledge of industry-leading data analytics and visualization practices
Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leadership

The UChicago Data Science Institute seeks a summer Research Director to lead the intellectual and research direction of the program, overseeing curriculum, research projects, and DSSI Network faculty engagement. The Research Director will be responsible for leading the intellectual and research theme for the DSSI Summer Program. The Research Director will help determine the research theme for the 2025 program, as well as identify, scope, and/or vet research projects for the student participants. Previous research themes have included the intersection of social impact and spatial data science (2023) and natural language processing (2024). The Research Director will also work with instructors to develop the instructional content to ensure students can succeed in meeting the project goals and learning outcomes. The Research Director will have support from DSI leadership, program and administrative staff.
